Hello and welcome to the CMSS holiday page....
This year we are staying in the UK for our holidays BUT that doesnt mean they are going to be any less fun! We have 2 long weekens trips to Butlins, 2 trips to the all new ( to CMSS) Potters resort on the Norfolk broads, a 5 day trip to Alton Towers, a long weekend in Center Parcs and a week away in an exclusive farm house!!!
The holidays are a massive part of CMSS and are enjoyed by the clients, staff and volunteers. if you are interested in becoming a volunteer then please contact me at the centre on 0208 866 3711 .

Holidays - at home and abroad - are arranged, after consultation with the clients themselves and are then individually catered for regardless of ability, in places that people in general like to go on holiday.
Short breaks are also offered to clients when requested by either client or family and this is an invaluable addition to our holistic support. These short breaks and holidays offer the families and carers a much needed respite break, safe in the knowledge that their family member is having a great time on holiday.
Socials- Discos, cinema and a wide variety of day and evening trips are also important dates throughout the year, where real friendships are formed.
Together we make things happen - e.g. clubbing until 6.00 in the morning in Spain, seeing the dolphins up close or for the less adventurous, a relaxing pamper weekend break or a countryside retreat.

This year at CMSS is a very special, exciting and a fun packed year for us as we will be celebrating our Diamond Jubilee.
Throughout the year, we will be having lots of different events to celebrate this special year.
Events for the year:
1st June: Evening disco and buffet
29th June: 'The In Between Years' performance by Clients of CMSS at the Compass Theatre
2nd July: 'The In Between Years' performance by Clients of CMSS at the Compass Theatre
6th July: A day trip to the sea side
10th August: Picnic in the grounds
12th September: Carers outing to Buckingham Palace
29th September: **GALA DAY**
24th November: Christmas Bazaar; 'Launch of 'The In Between Years' History Book'
14th December: Christmas Lunch

Please come and join us to celebrate this special day of the year. The day will be packed full of fun; Barbeque, Bar, Coconut Shy, Raffles, Bottle tombola, refreshments, beat the goalie and plenty more...

Have you been attending CMSS for 50 years? Has your family been involved with CMSS for many years? We are currently in the process of publishing a book about the history of CMSS and we need any old newspaper cuttings, photographs, letters, or anyting related to the history of CMSS. Please could you forward these to Betty Morris and we will photocopy them with your permission, and give the originals back to you.
