For users who navigate using their keyboard we have provided a number of accesskeys, which have been chosen to avoid conflicts with shortcuts in common browsers and software.

This website is built using code compliant with World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards for XHTML and Cascading Style Sheets. The pages display correctly with currently available internet browsers, and the use of standard XHTML code means that future versions of browsers will also display them correctly.

We are working towards making these pages conform to level AAA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. meaning it will be fully optimised for accessibility and usability for all Internet users.

CMSS Christmas Bazaar 2009We would like to say a big thank you for everyone who helped us in our fundraising events in 2009. The Christams Bazaar was a great success.

There were lots of stalls selling gifts, cards and wrapping paper, hand knitted items, home made cakes and lovely hot food on the day.

We held a raffle, auction and various other games where you could win a prize.

The day raised £4200.00 after deductions, this will all go towards our clients holidays and along with all other monies raised during 2009 will pay for transport, transfers, specialised equipment,general care and anything else that is needed to make our clients have an enjoyable holiday. The money also goes on providing social events throughout the year for our clients.

 Once again thank you to everyone who donated gifts, vouchers, bottles and anything else, also thanks to all of you who gave up their time to help either beforehand, on the day or afterwards.

 We are pleased to announce that our CMSS lease has been renewed for another 5 years until September 2014. This will enable us to further develop and utilise our independent living skills area and our computer suite.

 We are currently looking for a community based building in Central Harrow for our Harrow Community Links Project. This will need to be accessible with accessible, disabled toilets, and be available Monday to Friday 9am-3pm. If you know of any building or large hall, which is available, or is likely to become available in the near future, please contact Betty Morris or Naheed Judge on 02088663711 for further details.

 Have you been attending CMSS for 50 years? Has your family been involved with CMSS for many years? We are currently in the process of publishing a book about the history of CMSS and we need any old newspaper cuttings, photographs, letters, or anyting related to the history of CMSS. Please could you forward these to Betty Morris and we will photocopy them with your permission, and give the originals back to you.
